Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Mrs. Forkasdi and I'm so excited to be your teacher this year. Get ready for a fun-filled school year full of learning and growth.

About the Teacher

Mrs. Forkasdi graduated in 2020 from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In addition, she also has her SEI endorsements. This is her 4th year teaching. Mrs. Forkasdi has been through the Deer Valley School System; attending Mountain Shadows Elementary, Desert Sky Middle School and Deer Valley High School. In her spare time she enjoys reading, camping, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Students may arrive on campus at 8:15 to eat breakfast in the cafeteria. Students not eating breakfast are permitted on campus at 8:30 and will play on the playground until the first bell at 8:40.
