Hello! My name is Irene Ko, and I am excited to be your child’s second-grade teacher this year. Mountain Shadows is a very special place to me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside my students and families.
As a teacher, I am hardworking and encouraging. I enjoy creating engaging lessons that help students think deeply and work well with others. I also help students become more independent. I set high expectations while providing the support each child needs to feel confident and successful.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. My family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with them whenever we are together. I look forward to getting to know your family and making this a meaningful school year for your child.
