About the Teacher
Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Erica Fewell. I love being a teacher. I have been a teacher for 19 years; 1 year in 6th grade Science, 5 years in 5th grade Science and 13 years in 4th grade. I grew up in Houston, Texas and got a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Information Systems from Baylor University. I went back to school for my teaching degree at Arizona State University in 2003. From there, I began working at Anthem Elementary. After that, I moved to my home school, Mountain Shadows, where I am starting my 4th year. I am so excited about continuing my Coyote journey this year! I am so excited about being your child's teacher, and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Differentiation
My philosophy on gifted learners and differentiation:
* I like getting to know my students and how they learn.
* I use what I learn about my students to build lessons and work on the pacing of lessons.
* Fair does not necessarily mean equal.
* It's OK to come to me with questions or a better way of doing things.
* I like working with my students to make rules and guidelines that everyone can agree on and follow.
* I think the best way to work is to have teachers, parents, and students working all together.
