My original foundation is in the field of Social Work, receiving a post-bac teaching certificate in
Early Childhood Education from the University of Hawaii Manoa. I taught Special Education Preschool in Hawaii for 10 years before returning to Arizona to be with my 3 sons and their families, being especially excited to practice skills to be the best Grandma ever! My sons grew up in the Deer Valley School District graduating from Boulder Creek HS, and I had substituted in the district for 5 years prior to moving to Hawaii. I started with DVUSD as a Developmental Preschool Teacher in 2022, and I have loved every minute of investing in the students entrusted to me!
