Before Ms. Wilson got into teaching, she had several other careers, including retail sales, banking and she owned and operated Coyote Travel Agency. After retiring in 2000, she decided to follow her dreams of teaching. Teaching has always been her passion, though, and she started to substitute teach for Deer Valley Unified School District in 2013 before getting her teaching certification. Ms. Wilson is dual certified to teach both General Education and Special Education.
Ms. Wilson has one daughter, who is a certified auto mechanic living in Iowa. When Ms. Wilson is not teaching, she enjoys traveling, baking, cooking, reading and connecting with the community.

Classroom Expectations
Students will begin with the end in mind. Students listen while others are talking. Students will value other's opinion. Students will raise their hand to speak. Students will clean up after themselves and use classroom materials and tools appropriately. Students will treat their peers with kindness.
