Welcome from Mrs. Teran!

With a passion for education that started in 1997, I have served as a dedicated Reading Specialist since 2005. Proud NMSU Aggie - Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Master's in Curriculum & Instruction with a Reading Endorsement from ASU, my ultimate goal is helping students work hard, dream big, and reach their highest potential!

When I’m off the clock, I love making memories with my family—my husband, Anthony, and daughters, Elise and Nissa. I also enjoy traveling to new places, getting creative with crafts, and dancing!

Mrs. Todd has been teaching since 2000. She graduated from ASU West and started her career as a second grade teacher.  Mrs. Todd loves building relationships with her students and supporting them with their academic needs.

She enjoys spending time with her family, husband Matt and daughters Hailey and Madi.  Mrs. Todd also enjoys cooking, grocery shopping, volunteering and watching cooking shows in her time off.

Since 1992, I’ve been lucky to spend my time doing what I love—teaching!  All in the Deer Valley School District.  I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of students in grades 3–6 over the years and it has been an amazing experience.  I was even named Teacher of the Year back in 2008! Since 2014, I have spent my teaching career as a math specialist. I’m passionate about helping children build confidence and embrace a growth mindset in math class. I look forward to supporting your child on their learning journey.
